The SCAR-20 | Fragments (Minimal Wear, MW) is a Mil-Spec autosniper skin whose gunmetal paint fakes a fractured, shard-like geometry across the rifle. Minimal Wear is the second grade down, holding almost all of that faceted look with only light wear for a touch less.

Design

The finish uses a gunmetal-colored custom paint job, angled and shaded until the weapon's surface appears broken into fragments — an optical trick rather than added graphics. The community artist UAD6 created it, and it carries a fitting quote: "Fragment of your imagination."

With a 0.00–0.78 float span behind it, this finish shows in every grade while stopping short of the extreme worn end. Minimal Wear sits just under Factory New (FN) on that scale, where the gray faceting stays well-defined and only faint edge wear appears — easy to miss in normal play.

Rarity: Mil-Spec Grade. That's the entry blue tier of the standard weapon grades and the most common colored grade, which is a big reason the finish stays affordable.

Belonging to The Revolution Collection, this finish comes out of the Revolution Case, which launched in February 2023. Across the case the Mil-Spec tier pulls at about 79.92% (an odds figure shared among the tier's skins), making it the grade you'll unbox most often — and supply on the market is deep as a result.

There's no random pattern roll on this finish — because the design is fixed, the fractured gunmetal artwork lands identically on every copy, and no paint seed or "blue gem" is worth chasing. Only wear and float set copies apart.

StatTrak & Souvenir

You can also find a StatTrak edition, which adds a confirmed-kill counter; it's a rarer, pricier drop than the standard skin, and the counter is permanent, never getting wiped as the item changes hands. A Souvenir version doesn't exist — Souvenir weapons are produced only from Major-tournament packages, and this finish was never part of one.

How much wear shows at Minimal Wear?

Very little. The gunmetal faceting keeps its definition and the fractured illusion reads well, with only trace scratching at the edges that's hard to notice in a match. For most buyers it delivers nearly the Factory New look at a slightly lower price, which makes it an easy value pick.

Is Minimal Wear or Field-Tested (FT) the better buy?

Both are cheap, so it comes down to taste. Minimal Wear keeps the gray faceting crisper, while Field-Tested costs a little less and still shows the illusion clearly. If you want a near-top look without paying Factory New money, Minimal Wear is the sweet spot.

Does StatTrak change how it looks?

No. The StatTrak version wears the exact same fractured gunmetal design; the only difference is the kill counter set into the model. That counter tracks confirmed kills and never gets wiped through trades or sales. It's a rarer, more expensive drop than the standard finish at the same wear.
