Rubick skins and items

This is the full catalog of Rubick cosmetics, everything for the Grand Magus himself. Dota 2 items have no float and no wear, so the choice comes down to three things: the look, the rarity and the price. The catalog holds:

• complete hero sets;

• single-slot items: hats, masks, mantles, backs;

• staves, the arcana and golden ones included;

• voice packs, couriers and taunts.

Set pieces sell separately and start at a few cents, so you can build the look a piece at a time instead of buying the whole set.

The Rubick arcana: The Magus Cypher

Rubick has one arcana, The Magus Cypher. It arrived at the end of 2018 after the hero won the community vote, and it rebuilds him completely: the model, the animations and the ability effects, the stolen spells included. The market carries the plain version, Exalted, Inscribed with a stat counter, Autographed with a pro player's signature, the priciest Corrupted, plus The Magus Cypher Bundle and a separate voice pack.

How much the Rubick arcana costs

Around $25 for the plain, Exalted, Inscribed and Autographed versions, around $30 for the Bundle and around $45 for Corrupted. The arcana trades freely, so you can buy it outright instead of opening chests or waiting for it to return to the in-game store. To pull up every version in the catalog, pick the Arcana rarity in the filter.

Golden Staff of Perplex and the Fantoccini's Dilemma set

The ceiling of the catalog is not the arcana but the Golden Staff of Perplex, the golden take on the staff, at around $450. The second expensive line is Fantoccini's Dilemma, which is not an arcana at all but a Mythical-rarity set, though it holds comparable prices. Its torch runs about $95 plain and about $130 with the Inscribed prefix, the hat about $80, and the loading screen under a dollar.

The cheapest Rubick skins

The floor of the catalog is cents. The cheapest listings are single slots from the mass-produced sets:

• around $0.10: Mask of the Arcanist's Guise, Rambling Fatebender, Secondhand Sorcery - Back, Mantle of Diviner's Embrace;

• under $0.50: Resonant Vibrance Set, Scepter of the Grand Magus, Tome of the Itinerant Scholar;

• under a dollar: The Arcanist's Guise, Staff of Diviner's Embrace, the Voice of the Magus Cypher pack.

A full look assembled out of those pieces costs a dollar or two.

The most expensive Rubick items

The ceiling belongs to the golden staff, the Fantoccini's Dilemma set and the arcana:

• Golden Staff of Perplex at around $450, the hero's priciest item;

• Inscribed Torch of Fantoccini's Dilemma at around $130;

• Torch of Fantoccini's Dilemma at around $95;

• Hat of Fantoccini's Dilemma at around $80;

• Corrupted The Magus Cypher and Avatar of the Impossible Realm at around $45;

• The Magus Cypher in its other versions at around $25.

Price comes down to the item's rarity, its prefix (Inscribed, Autographed, Exalted, Corrupted, Golden) and how many copies are listed: the fewer on sale, the higher the price.
