Dota 2 treasures are containers you open in the client, and each one hands you a random item from its own set. The catalog holds 83 treasures and more than 10 000 listings, from eleven cents for the common ones up to $153 for Treasure of the Crimson Witness 2024. The spread has little to do with what is inside and everything to do with supply: treasures from closed events are no longer handed out in game, so the market is the only source left.
The top of the list belongs to 2016 sets and early compendiums: Trust of the Benefactor 2016 at about $39, Fall 2016 Treasure III at about $34, Winter 2016 Treasure II at about $28. They stopped being distributed years ago, the pool is finite and only shrinks, because every treasure that gets opened is gone for good. Recent sets work the other way around: Dead Reckoning Chest sells for nineteen cents and carries more than seven thousand listings.
A treasure is priced on two things: what it can roll and how many copies are left. Sets that can produce immortal items or arcanas hold a premium even when the odds on the rare line are slim. Lockless Luckvase at about $62 sits where it does because of its contents, not its age.
The math is straightforward. The expected value of a single open is almost always below the price of the specific item you want. People buy treasures for the roll itself and for the chance at a rare line. If you are after one particular piece, buying that piece as its own listing is cheaper and instant.
The most traded entries are The Battle Pass Collection 2022 at about $0.56, Ageless Heirlooms 2022 at about $0.57, Immortal Treasure I 2019 at about $0.95 and Crownfall Treasure I at about $1.20. Each carries well over a hundred listings, so their prices are steady and easy to plan around.
Sign in through Steam, pick a set and pay by card or crypto. A bot sends the trade offer, you accept it, and the treasure lands in your inventory ready to open. There is no need to top up a Steam wallet first, and the final amount is shown before payment with no hidden fees.
