Twilight Schism of the Crimson Witness

Where Crimson Witness Items Come From

Twilight Schism of the Crimson Witness is Luna's glaive from the Crimson Witness series — the same model as the ordinary Twilight Schism, with red particles and a completely different origin story. The price runs into three figures, and the reason is not the rarity step but how these were handed out.

How It Differs From the Ordinary Twilight Schism

Treasures in this series dropped to people watching The International at the moment first blood was drawn on stage. They went to a random slice of that audience rather than to everyone.

Inside were special versions of Immortals that already existed: the same model, with the effects recoloured red.

This glaive belongs to the 2024 edition's set. No further copies have appeared since, because the giveaway was tied to specific live matches.

That is where the series gets its reputation. It is not a rare pull from a treasure but a receipt for having been in the building.

What Changes on the Hero

The base piece is an Immortal weapon for Luna, a common item that costs very little. The Crimson Witness version is built on it.

The difference is the particles — a red glow in place of the standard one — plus the words in the name. Shape, animation and behaviour in a fight are the same.

The price gap between the two is not measured in percentages but in orders of magnitude. What is being paid for is where the copy came from.

In game the two behave identically, and an opponent registers the difference only by the colour of the particles. For most people that settles the argument in favour of the plain one.

What It Costs

Luna's weapon slot is her glaive, the one that flies out and bounces between targets. This redraws exactly that.

Her abilities keep their standard presentation: Eclipse and Lucent Beam look as they always did, with no custom effects added.

The projectile itself, though, is on screen constantly. Luna attacks with bounces, so the glaive is almost never out of view.

Who It Makes Sense For

Three figures — the top end of the catalogue, the level of arcanas and old grails.

Scarcity is what holds it there. Few copies exist, and there is no in-game route that puts more of them into circulation.

Liquidity is correspondingly thin. Items like this are bought to keep rather than flipped in a week, and that is worth knowing before you pay.

Where to Buy Twilight Schism of the Crimson Witness

Collectors of tournament pieces: the Crimson Witness series is one of the most recognisable marks The International has produced.

Luna players willing to spend seriously on a detail that gets identified in the first fight of a game.

If all you want is a different glaive, the ordinary version looks almost the same and costs a tiny fraction. That is a fair alternative and most people stop there.

The item is available from this page: Steam authorisation, choose an offer, pay by card, cryptocurrency or e-wallet.

The glaive arrives in your Steam inventory, and selling it on with a real-money payout runs from the same account.

Read the full name before paying: the plain Twilight Schism and the Crimson Witness version are separated by a few words and an enormous difference in money.
