Unusual Sawtooth of the Odobenus One

What the Item Is

Unusual Sawtooth of the Odobenus One is an off-hand item for Pudge in a copy carrying the Unusual quality. The base piece is inexpensive; what holds the double-digit figure between $10 and $20 is the effect attached to this particular copy.

What the Unusual Prefix Means

Pudge's off-hand slot is what he carries in his free hand — the cleaver he walks around with. His hook lives in a separate slot and is untouched by this piece.

The base rarity is Mythical, the middle of the Dota 2 scale. Legendary and Immortal sit above it, Rare and standard gear below.

The name points at walruses: odobenus is their genus, and the whole piece is cut in a northern, tusked style.

The cleaver changes nothing mechanically. Rot, Meat Hook and Dismember behave exactly as they always do.

How It Reads on Pudge

Unusual is a quality carried by one copy rather than a different item. The model underneath is the same; what this copy has is an effect the plain version does not.

The quality does not promote the piece up the rarity ladder either. It stays Mythical, it is simply not a standard example of one.

Copies are therefore not interchangeable, and the effect is what sets the price. Open the offer itself before paying, because the name alone will not tell you what you are getting.

What It Costs

Pudge is permanently in the middle of things: trading blows in a lane, standing in every fight by the river. His hands get a great deal of screen time.

Effects on small pieces read best up close, with the camera near the hero. Zoomed out the particles thin noticeably, which is worth knowing in advance.

It sits with sets built for him without conflict, since the hand slot is independent of his armour and head.

Who It Suits

A double-digit sum under $20 — the middle bracket, where most of the commonly traded effect-carrying copies sit.

The plain version of the same cleaver costs less. The entire premium here is the quality of the copy.

The live figure is in the card at the top of the page. On pieces with particles the spread between offers is wider than on ordinary copies, so comparing a couple is not wasted effort.

Where to Buy Unusual Sawtooth of the Odobenus One

Players who take Pudge constantly, have already closed the loud slots and are now filling in details.

Anyone who prefers building an inventory out of effect-carrying copies rather than expensive models: it costs less than an Immortal and does more at close range.

If Pudge is an occasional pick, the plain cleaver or a set is the better call. The money differs a lot, the zoomed-out picture barely does.

The general rule for anything with particles holds here too: take the copy whose effect you personally like.

The piece is taken from this page: Steam authorisation, choice of copy, payment by card, cryptocurrency or e-wallet.

Once paid for, it appears in the Steam inventory and is immediately available in the hero's armoury.

Selling it back with a real-money withdrawal runs through the same platform, and Pudge's other cosmetics have pages of their own nearby.
