What You Are Actually Buying

Cursed Cauldron is a cast iron pot full of glowing green sludge that stands in for the ordinary campfire in Rust. The theme is Halloween, but the function is thoroughly domestic: you cook on it and warm up beside it exactly as you would at any fire.

What a Campfire Does in Rust

This is not paint applied to something already in your base. It is a separate deployable with a recipe of its own.

While a copy sits in your Steam inventory the game lets you craft the cauldron in a session. Sell it or break it down and that ability leaves alongside the item.

It is built from wood, the same material as the fire it replaces, and placed on a floor the same way.

There is no cap on how many you put down. Burn the base, lose it to a raid, abandon the spot — you craft another on the new floor and carry on.

What It Looks Like

The campfire is a survivor's first stove. Meat gets cooked on it, raw ingredients get processed, and anything you scavenge becomes edible there.

It is also the earliest source of warmth, and cold in Rust kills just as reliably as somebody else's rifle.

Then there is light. In a windowless box a fire is the only illumination you have until electricity is sorted out.

The cauldron covers all of that identically. The green sludge inside does not speed up cooking or alter a single recipe.

Who It Suits

The description leaves little room for doubt: an iron bowl on a stand with a luminous green mass bubbling in it.

In a dark room that is considerably more striking than a heap of embers, and the glow of the contents does most of the work.

The exact model is best checked in the offer preview, since lighting and camera angles in third-party images routinely distort the colour.

It fits an interior best when the base is already leaning dark — shadowy doors, skulls, the rest of the Halloween furniture.

What Cursed Cauldron Costs

Players who build for the look of the place, because a kitchen with a cauldron photographs very differently from a pile of ash.

Anyone running a trading post or a roleplay server, where a recognisable piece of furniture is remembered by visitors.

Collectors of seasonal items, as Halloween things return to the game irregularly and tend to be gathered in batches.

For a player who only cares about survival, however, this adds nothing a normal fire does not, and that is fair to say before anyone spends money.

Where to Buy Cursed Cauldron

The figure is modest: under $5, the level of cheap clothing rather than collectable decor.

Comparing it to a campfire on cost misses the point, since that one is made from scavenged wood and costs nothing — what you are paying for is the look of your kitchen.

The live price is in the card above and is recalculated from current offers.

The cauldron is sold on LIS-SKINS from here: Steam authorisation, an offer, then payment by card, cryptocurrency or electronic wallet.

The item reaches your Steam inventory and the recipe becomes available in game immediately afterwards.

Reselling runs through the same site, with money paid out to a card or a wallet.

The rest of the Halloween range sits beside it in the Rust catalogue, from masks to doors, if the whole base is going one way.
