Aleksib talks about OG plans after defeat at IEM Katowice

Finnish cybersportsman Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen recently gave an interview to the HLTV portal, in which he spoke about the current situation in the OG team after it was eliminated from the IEM Katowice tournament. In 2020, OG rose to 12th place in the list of the best teams, but has not been in the best shape in recent months. The last few tournaments ended unsuccessfully for her, and she was one of the first to leave IEM Katowice.

Alexi noted that the team is currently having a lot of discussions about the current situation and future plans. The players suffered defeat in a tournament for which they had high hopes and for which they had been preparing for a long time. Therefore, the team is now trying to understand how best to move forward.

One of the problems that the team has been constantly having to deal with lately – this is that due to anti-epidemic restrictions, one of the players, Issa "ISAA" Murad is forced to play from home, and his ping is noticeably higher than the rest. It has not yet been possible to organize his arrival at a joint bootcamp.

At the same time, in-game interaction in the team is at a high level: the composition of OG has not changed since 2019, and the e-sportsmen have many worked out tactical scenarios. Therefore, Aleksib hopes that they will be able to show good results again as soon as they solve temporary problems.
