Astralis has left the BLAST Premier Spring 2020 Showdown

The Danish team Astralis finished their performance at the BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 Showdown tournament, losing to mousesports in the quarterfinals. Although Astralis had the opportunity to change the course of the game several times throughout the match, they were unable to do so and were defeated on both maps: Overpass with a score of 16 – 19 and Train with a score of 5 – 16. In the next match, mousesports will have to meet with ENCE Sports and compete for reaching the final.

After replacing two players, Astralis has been performing unsuccessfully: since Andreas "Xyp9x" Hoislet and Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander decided to stop playing for several months; the team won only one match out of four. After the first failures at BLAST Premier Spring, the players made an appeal to the fans, in which they asked not to expect immediate success from them. They reminded that it will take time for the new roster to reach its previous level. CS:GO Analyst Duncan "Thorin" Shields was critical of this statement: he called the team "narcissistic" due to the fact that it requires understanding from players, despite losses.

Meanwhile, Astralis decided to skip the cs_summit 6 tournament, hoping to return to good form for the next competition.
