Astralis have picked up a sixth player back in the squad

The Danish team Astralis has decided to return to an expanded roster of six people. It was in this format that she performed until April 2021, when Nikolai “device” Reedtz decided to move to NIP, and five esports players remained on the main roster. Now they will be joined by the young sniper Philip “Lucky” Ewald, who previously played for the Danish Trickled.

Lucky himself commented on his move to the new team as follows: “I really enjoyed playing for Trickled and I am grateful to them for a lot. But when you are invited to Astralis, everything changes… I understand that some will compare me to device, but no one can compare with it. I hope I can show who I am and I will work hard to make my own contribution to the team."

Astralis have not yet announced exactly when the new player will begin competing, but one of the team's leaders mentioned that he should be an active member of the roster from day one. The addition of a sixth player may be especially relevant in the fall, when another Astralis member, Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander is expecting the birth of a child and plans to take a break from performing due to this.
