Esports organization Aurora has officially announced its CS:GO roster after qualifying for the European RMR tournament. The roster included players from Russia, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. The team's coach was Ukrainian e-sportsman Sergei "starix" Ischuk, and his assistant – Evgeniy "bullet" Batkin.
The roster was formed in early August, before the start of the qualifying competitions preceding the major in Rio. Aurora was able to qualify for the European RMR tournament on the first try, defeating Astralis and BLUEJAYS. Then she lost to the Falcons in the semi-finals, but the place she received was enough to qualify.
Aurora has several young players, such as Evgeniy “delus1onn” Plotsov, who previously played for VP.Prodigy and Alexander “KaiR0N” Anashkin, who performed well at Spirit Academy. There are also more experienced cybersportsmen on the roster - Amin “sugar” Azimov, who had already participated in the European rating tournament during the selection for the major in Antwerp, and Victor “Lack1” Boldyrev, who competed for Entropiq for a year. And the in-game leader of the lineup was Artem “RaiLWAY” Gradovich.
Aurora is currently competing at CCT Central Europe, where it will face teams such as Copenhagen Flames, forZe and MIBR.
