Participants of the Bad News Eagles project decided to create an e-sports organization. Prior to this, the lineup had been unsuccessfully looking for opportunities for collaboration for six months after leaving BLINK.
In June, Bad News Eagles reached the eighteenth meta in the overall ranking and were able to make it to the Legends stage at PGL Major Antwerp. They became the first team from Kosovo to qualify for a major, and did so without the support of any organization. As a result, they left the tournament, losing to Copenhagen Flames and FaZe.
Thanks to their achievements in Antwerp, the Flatron team “juanflatroo” Halimi made it to the group at the European Road to Rio tournament. On August 24, Bad News Eagles announced on Twitter that they would continue to perform under the same name, forming an organization to have full control over future decisions. The statement published on the social network mentions that the main factor for the team is not earnings, but the opportunity to use the organization's resources to develop players.
Bad News Eagles will appear at ESL Challenger League Season 42. They will play their first match on September 7 against UNGENTIUM.
