The recently released Spring Forward update added dozens of new skins, grouped into several collections, as well as a separate Fever Case. It includes quite a few successful designs, including new knife variants. If you want to test your luck by opening cases or want to expand your inventory with skins that are currently popular in the community, this selection of the best skins from the Fever Case will definitely come in handy.
Knives from the Fever Case
Together with the Fever Case, 24 knives appeared in the game, including finishes for four knife types – Survival, Skeleton, Paracord, and Nomad. Each of them is available in six variants for every taste, from realistic Damascus steel texture or rust coating to Doppler and Marble Fade, the price of which can be quite high if a lucky pattern index drops.
However, knives from the Fever Case attracted the community's attention not only because the list of knife types with rare finishes was updated for the first time in a long while. In the first days after the update’s release, players noticed an unusually high drop rate of Doppler knives, particularly rare variants like “ruby” or “sapphire.” It was later discovered that the anomaly was caused by a bug in the algorithm that determines knife drops.
On April 3, Valve already fixed the bug, so the probability of getting a rare skin returned to the standard rate. However, some players still managed to take advantage of the situation. It remains unclear how the increased number of market-available knives will affect their prices.
FAMAS Bad Trip
One of the two “Classified” skins included in the Fever Case is FAMAS Bad Trip. True to its name, this skin is covered with images of fanged monsters devouring each other, painted in vividly bright psychedelic colors.
AWP Printstream
The second “Classified” skin from the case is the complete stylistic opposite of the previous one. The Printstream series is known for its minimalist black-and-white design, and now it includes its most anticipated addition – a sniper rifle skin. The white-coated body with a black stock, geometric patterns, and technical inscriptions will be a worthy addition to any collection.
UMP-45 K.O. Factory
There are three “Covert” skins in the Fever Case, and each one is unique in its own way. UMP-45 K.O. Factory is painted in bright colors reminiscent of cartoons or comic books. The design shows the internal mechanisms of the weapon, but unlike, for example, Glock-18 Clear Polymer with its transparent magazine or P250 X-Ray, here they look completely toy-like: the drawn bullets are pushed into the barrel by a tiny boxing glove.
AK-47 Searing Rage
The creators of AK-47 Searing Rage chose a much darker style for their creation. The stock is covered in chaotic inscriptions, among which the anarchy symbol is clearly visible, and flames engulf the body and front part of the barrel.
Glock-18 Shinobu
Finally, Glock-18 Shinobu joins the collection of skins featuring cute girls, like the Neo-Noir series and other similar designs. The illustration looks quite refined and will definitely appeal to anime fans.
Zeus x27 Tosai
The most unusual of the five “Restricted” skins in the Fever Case is Zeus x27 Tosai. First, it’s a skin for the taser, which is rarely featured. Second, its barrel is decorated with the image of an orange-and-white Japanese koi carp that beautifully fits into the shape of the short barrel. Even if the chance to use the taser doesn't come up often, many will still consider this skin a worthwhile purchase.
Desert Eagle Serpent Strike
Another skin in an Asian style – Desert Eagle Serpent Strike. Interestingly, the snake illustration here is done in black and red tones, which gives the skin a distinctive look. If you find the embossed snake or dragon designs on other similar skins not vivid enough, this is a great alternative.
Nova Rising Sun
The Eastern theme continues with Nova Rising Sun – a skin named after the Land of the Rising Sun. The body of the weapon is decorated with an image of Mount Fuji in a style resembling an ornament or stained glass, and blooming cherry branches stretch along the barrel.
Galil AR Control
Meanwhile, Galil AR Control will appeal to fans of a more strict geometric style. The body of the weapon is adorned with several red and orange stripes, while most of the elements are painted in white or black. At the same time, the skin looks quite vivid.
P90 Wave Breaker
A similar style is seen in P90 Wave Breaker, whose surface is covered with a blue-green gradient with several gray stripes and inscriptions. If you’re looking for a weapon that fits into a “marine” themed inventory, this blue-green gun is a great choice.
“Mil-Spec” grade skins usually don’t look as flashy, but there’s still something to pay attention to among them. Many will likely appreciate the blue-green geometric pattern on the grip of the USP-S PC-GRN or the P2000 Sure Grip with its embossed ornament covering the barrel.
