It is expected that the competition will take place in mid-May. Thus, this will be the first event of this scale for BLAST, which began organizing CS:GO tournaments about six years ago, then under the name RFRSH Entertainment.
Over the years, BLAST has held major tournaments in many countries, and CS:GO fans appreciate it for its high level of organization and broadcast quality. The most famous event of the Danish company is the BLAST Premier tournament cycle, the finals of which are held in the presence of tens of thousands of spectators.
It is still unclear where exactly the major will be held, but the same sources report that Paris is being considered as a priority option. If this information is correct, the event will be the first major to be held in France. In a recent interview, BLAST managing director Charlotte Kenny mentioned that the company will host a major "when the time is right." She noted that they have always been interested in organizing an event of this scale and will do everything to meet the high expectations of the community.
