Strategic coach of the team Renato “nak” Nakano explained that MIBR decided to keep brnz4n on the roster for the duration of the competition because the players did not want to “lose the rhythm” of the competition. on the eve of such a significant event as the championship in Katowice, after they had trained a lot with this particular lineup and had already performed in several official matches.
Brnz4n previously appeared as a replacement player in 2021 when Ricardo "boltz" tested positive for coronavirus. Prassa, and later, for the same reason, replaced chelo with BLAST Premier Spring Groups. The eSportsman, who previously played for the MIBR youth team, showed impressive results. It was largely thanks to his skill that the Brazilians were able to defeat Natus Vincere and then Complexity. Despite this, MIBR failed to qualify for the final stage of the tournament, losing to Vitality and G2. At IEM Katowice, the Brazilian team will also face serious competition: of the 16 teams that will take part in the play-in, most are higher in the world rankings.
