Swedish player Ludwig "Brollan" Brolin signed a new contract with fnatic, tying his career with this team for another three years. The eighteen-year-old eSports player has been playing for fnatic since 2018 and during this time has made a significant contribution to its success. He was twice in the top 20 best players according to HLTV – in 2019 and 2020.
Brollan began performing on the professional stage in 2017, after taking part in a reality show dedicated to eSports. At the end of the same year, he joined GODSENT and played for it until the moment when this lineup was bought by Red Reserve. Four months later he started playing for fnatic – first as a replacement and then as a permanent member. Largely thanks to his talent, fnatic was able to successfully perform at PLG Grand Slam 2018 and DreamHack Masters Malmö 2019. Last year, Brollan received the MVP title for the first time when his team won the ESL Pro League Season 11.
2021 did not start very well for fnatic. After adding rookie Jack "Jakckiho" to the roster in January. Strom Mattson, the team performed well at cs_summit 7, losing only to Virtus.pro, but was eliminated from IEM Katowice after only two matches. Therefore, the extension of the contract with Brollan gives fans the opportunity to hope that the team will perform more successfully in the future. The next important matches will be played by fnatic next week, as part of the group tournament of ESL Pro League Season 13.
