Former players of the Danish team North Niklas "gade" Gade, Philip "aizy" Eistrup and Markus "Kjaerbye" Kjerbier decided to unite again and have already started looking for a company that could support their project. The new team will also include Johannes "b0RUP" Borap and Frederick “Fessor” Sørensen.
Team North ceased operations last month due to financial problems caused by the coronavirus pandemic. Aizy and gade continued to be under contract, but were eventually allowed to freely leave the esports organization. Kjaerbye played for Faze in recent months, but was dropped from the active roster in January, making way for Russell "Twistzz" Van Dalken.
The three North players have had to overcome a number of difficulties in recent years. They played with the same lineup from September 2018 to May 2020. The most notable achievement during this period was the team's victory at DreamHack Open Sevilla in 2020. In mid-2020, Kjaerbye was forced to take a break for medical reasons and then left the North lineup. Soon aizy also dropped out of the active roster, and gade formally remained the leader of the team until its dissolution.
Niklas Gade said that after North ceased its activities, he began to discuss with other players the possibility of getting together again. He expects that they will be helped by similar views on the game and already accumulated experience of interaction. Now players are waiting for proposals from e-sports organizations that would like to invest in their project.
