Esports organization Entropiq announced that it will sign the EPG Family roster, which includes players who previously played under the Winstrike tag. In March, the team, whose leader is Alexey “El1an” Gusev, unilaterally terminated the contract with Winsrike, citing the fact that the other party had repeatedly violated its terms. From that moment on, she performed independently and was in search of a new sponsor. Team coach Dmitry “hooch” Bogdanov previously said that proposals from organizations from the CIS turned out to be unprofitable for the team, and he expects to look for partners in Europe. Soon after this, information about an agreement with Entropiq appeared.
It is interesting that Entropiq plans to retain its previous line-up, which will now play under the name Entropiq Prague. Currently, EPG Family occupies 21st place in the world ranking, so cooperation with it will also be beneficial for the Czech organization, which is just beginning to reach the international level. It was founded in 2020 and until recently showed itself exclusively on the local stage, while it failed to break into major international tournaments.
