Irish esports organization Coalesce has announced the recruitment of a new roster. The team will consist mainly of Swedish players. Coalesce management announced this on Twitter. Before this, the team was represented by a British roster, which was disbanded at the end of 2021.
Coalesce was formed in August 2021 when six UK organizations decided to pool their resources to form a squad that could compete at a high level. However, it was not possible to fully achieve the set goals. The new roster will include several players who have already made their mark. In particular, this is the former fnatic sniper Jack “Jackinho” Ström Mattson and Peer “sausol” Solsona Saumell, who used to play for MAD Lions. They will also be joined by Thomas "Thomas" Utting, a former Endpoint player, Tim "Mann3n" Isak from Young Ninjas and Robin "robiin" Sjoergen from Finest.
The team's coach will be Mikhailo "feedme" Petrovich. In his commentary, he talked about his approach to forming the roster: first he decided on the candidacy of an in-game leader, then he decided to invite Jackinho, as one of the best snipers, as well as Thomas, who has extensive experience. These three formed the core of the team, which was supplemented by two more promising e-sportsmen.
