Several publications covering events on the European eSports scene have reported that Complexity is going to sign a contract with Brazilian player Marcelo “coldzera” David. The Brazilian left FaZe in June 2021, citing a series of poor performances by the team and the imminent expiration of his contract as the reason. From then on, he remained without a team for approximately three months.
Coldzera is expected to take the place of Christian "k0nfig" Wieneke, who has not yet recovered from his injury. In the upcoming matches, another Danish e-sportsman will play instead of him – Nils Christian "NaToSaphiX" Sillassen.
Coldzera will likely appear on the roster after Complexity completes its participation in the playoff matches of ESL Pro League Season 14. Next, the Danes will have to compete in the group stage of BLAST Premier Fall, and they will play their first match against FaZe – coldzera's former teammates. Natus Vincere and OG also entered the same group with Complexity and FaZe.
It is unclear how long Marcelo will remain with the team, as this will depend on the speed of k0nfig's recovery. In his recent post, Christian, who injured his arm a few weeks ago, mentioned that the cast should not be removed until the 15th, and after that he will have to undergo rehabilitation.
