The Danish Copenhagen Flames won the CCT Central Europe Series 3 tournament, defeating ex-Finest in the grand final. For the team, this is already the second victory in the CCT series in recent months: at the end of October, they won the CCT South Europe Series 1. In total, 24 teams took part in the tournament, but the Danes began their journey straight from the playoffs, since they entered the tournament by direct invitation. The team scored consecutive victories over 9INE, HAVU and K23, and then faced ex-Finest. For the latter, the defeat in the grand final turned out to be an unpleasant surprise, since before that the team, which now plays without the support of any organization, had not lost a single map during the entire playoffs.
It took three maps to determine the winner, and the fight on them was very stubborn: Copenhagen Flames won Vertigo with a significant advantage, but on Dust2 the forces were almost equal, and ex-Finest was able to take the map in overtime. The outcome of the match was determined on Inferno, which the Danes won with a score of 13 – 16.
Thus, Copenhagen Flames became the winner of the main prize of $22,000. Ex-Finest took second place, and third and fourth were shared by Russian K23 and European Endpoint.
