Valve Company kept her word and on the night of September 28 made a real holiday for all CS:GO fans, because the second part of the game was released. For many, this came as a complete surprise, because even pro players expected that a beta version would be released. The developers did not forget about the old players, so a commemorative medal was added, as well as a unique set of music that cannot be purchased with money.
There were not many innovations; the only pleasant thing to note is the change in the drops after the game. If previously the player would randomly receive a case and a weapon/sticker, now they are given a choice of two out of four items. The first is still a random case, the second is a weapon, and the last two are different stickers.
For those who like to knock out a knife, a joyful event happened: a function for opening cases appeared; on the very first day, many famous streamers knocked out expensive items. Players have been waiting for the moment when the Paris 2023 collection will be removed, and now this long-awaited moment has happened. Prices for capsules have increased only slightly, but everything may change soon.
From the global level, the following can be noted:
- Titles have been added for each card separately. If previously there was a single rank, now you need to win 10 matches on each to find out your rating on various maps.
- Partners are available again. Players who love to play with their friend will be delighted, many love this mode, which is why it is still popular.
Few people noticed, but the developers worked hard and added animation of the eyes of the agents; they can watch the mouse cursor. Global bugs that prevented you from fully enjoying the game have also been fixed.
Now you can move on to the not so good news.
- Many players encountered problems downloading the update. Instead of loading, a “Crash” error appeared, due to which users could not enter the game. The solution turned out to be quite simple; after restarting the Steam client, the bug disappeared.
- CS:GO was deleted forever, and now there is no way to play your favorite game. However, the ESL staff were able to do this. After all, it was during the announcement of the game that an e-sports match took place between the Monte - Complexity teams, which is why there was a long pause. After which the employees were able to launch the decisive map on the old servers, only they did not have a “silencer” (M4A1-S).
Pro-player S1mple said that players would still play the rest of the tournament on the old version, because everyone thought that the new game was still crude and required significant improvements.
