Dignitas plans to completely rebuild its CS:GO roster

Swedish Dignitas announced at the beginning of the week that it is putting its roster up for transfer. The management of the esports organization made this decision after it failed to qualify for the PGL Major Atnwerp, having previously failed in the previous cycle.

The current Dignitas roster includes both young players and those who have already managed to make a name for themselves on the professional stage. Some of them have been playing in the team for more than two years: Patrick “f0rest” Lindberg, Adam “friberg” Friberg and Hakon "hallzerk" Fjaerli signed contracts with her in February 2020. The team's results in the last two years can be assessed as average: most of the time they were outside the top 20 of the world rankings, and their most notable achievement was winning two seasons of the Nordic Masters tournament, which serves as a qualifier for the BLAST series.

At the same time, Dignitas announced that the future roster may include some of the players who are part of the team now. However, the decision was made to make all players available for transfer in order to, as stated in the official statement of the organization, “give each player a fair opportunity to find a suitable option for him.”
