Captain Virtus.pro Jami "Jame" Ali recently gave an interview to the HLTV portal, in which he summed up the results of recent years and spoke about his future plans. He gained great fame in 2019, when he became the best player in BLAST Pro Series Moscow. Soon after this, he moved to Virtus.pro, which at that time was one of the most successful teams in the region, and subsequently took the position of captain.
Answering a question about future plans, the player noted that it is too early to judge to what extent age may become an obstacle to participation in competitions. Now that Ali is 22 years old, he sometimes thinks about becoming a coach after 25 years, but in any case he does not plan to completely leave esports.
The player noted that money is important for him, but not the main factor of motivation. He appreciates the opportunity to play on a strong roster and achieve better results. The main thing is what motivates him – desire to win. You can lose your advantage in eSports very quickly, so you need to constantly work on maintaining it. Jame said that he spent his biggest winnings to help his mother buy an apartment.
Jame likes the role he has on the team now. Even before he formally became captain, he often took charge of decision-making and determining the course of the game. Although he is willing to play other positions, this is the role in which he feels most comfortable.
