Tournament organization Eden Sports has announced that a new series of competitions will be held this summer, called Eden Arena: Malta Vibes. Gaming Malta also participates in these events. The games will run for ten weeks, from early July to early September, with $40,000 in prizes up for grabs each week. Malta Vibes will follow the same format as the Home Sweet Home Cup competition, which concluded in mid-June. They gave away a total of $320,000 in eight weeks.
Sixteen teams will be able to take part in the competition every week. They will compete for the main prize, as well as the opportunity to host a bootcamp in Malta, which can be used throughout the year. Each time, the competition will begin with a group stage according to the GSL system, followed by playoffs in the “best of 3” format. The composition of the participants is still unknown, but if we compare the tournament schedule with the dates of other competitions, such as cs_summit 6 and ESL One Cologne, it becomes clear that the most famous teams will not be able to take part in many stages, since they will be busy with other games at that moment. The first week of Eden Arena: Malta Vibes will begin on June 30.
