The winner of the Fragadelphia 17 tournament, which ended in North America on September 11, was the team EG.PA. The lineup, led by Ben "ben1337" Smith began his performance at the event with a last chance match in the qualifying tournament, and then successfully made it through the group stage and playoffs, becoming the winner of the main prize of $40,000. Josh “PwnAlone” was especially impressive. Pigou from EG.PA. On eleven maps played in the last two stages of the competition, he showed an average rating of 1.27.
On the way to the grand final, EG.PA did not lose a single map, successively dealing with Vendetta, Detonate, Iron Blood and TeamOne. In the finals, the team faced BIG Academy, and here, in order to determine the winner, they still had to play three cards. First, EG.PA won Nuke by a small margin, then almost without a fight they lost to Vertigo (6 - 16 in favor of BIG Academy). The outcome of the match was decided by Mirage, which EG.PA won with a score of 16 – 9.
EG.PA consists of players who previously performed under the Party Astronauts tag. In mid-2022, this roster was acquired by Evil Geniuses and has since been competing as EG.PA. They currently occupy 64th place in the world rankings.
