On Tuesday, ENCE, which currently ranks third in the world rankings, announced a contract extension with coach Eetu "sAw" Sakha for one more season. After the team formed an international roster at the beginning of 2021, sAw helped them reach the next level and achieve high positions in the world's largest tournaments.
In an interview published on this occasion on the ENCE YouTube channel, sAw spoke about how his perception of the team has changed over time, and also shared his vision of its future. In particular, sAw mentioned that after ENCE took second place at ESL Pro League Season 15 and IEM Dallas, they expect to win a major competition: “We have the potential we need, but we probably need a little more stability to realize it. I am sure that this will happen, and we will achieve our plans, get this victory and even be able to claim first place in the ranking."
Over the past months, other team members have repeatedly spoken highly of the coach. ENCE in-game leader Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer described him as the best coach he has ever worked with. The player believes that it is thanks to the feedback he receives from sAw that he was able to achieve such significant progress.
