After the American esports organization Cloud9 ceased cooperation with Alexander “kassad” Trifunovic due to “stylistic differences,” its management began negotiations with Chris “Elmapuddy” Tebbit about his return to the team as a coach. General Manager Henry “HenryG” Greer confirmed they are in talks with the Australian coach: “While we can't make any official announcements at this time, we are in constant contact with Elmapuddy. He is an absolutely amazing coach and our negotiations are going very well. I look forward to bringing you concrete news next week.”
Chris Tebbit moved from Cloud9 to Gen.G at the end of 2019. However, at the end of 2020, after this American team failed to assemble a full roster, he received the opportunity to consider offers from other teams. Earlier in his career, Elmapuddy managed to prove himself as a coach of the Australian team ORDER, as well as an assistant coach of Cloud9. In addition, reports recently appeared that Cloud9 management plans to invite former Chaos member Eric “Xeppaa” Bach. Thus, the roster can include six participants from the USA, Great Britain, Denmark and Turkey.
