The Finnish eSports organization ENCE announced that it includes Elias “Jamppi» Olkkonen. The contract with the player is concluded for two years. Previously, Elias encountered problems due to the fact that his account was subject to a VAC-ban. The Finn himself claimed that this happened due to a misunderstanding, and was going to sue Valve, if the ban on participation in majors was not lifted from him. At the end of last year, due to an uncertain situation with VAC-ban, Elias failed to sign a contract with the OG team, but now it seems that the player’s career will take a turn for the better.
At ESL One: Road to Rio ENCE will perform with the same lineup, but at the tournaments DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 and Elisa Invitational Olkkonen has already been announced in the main list of players. Also, ENCE plan to seek the lifting of the ban on Jamppi and call on the Association of Professional Players to provide him with more support. Representatives of ENCE believe that mistakes made at an early age should not interfere with the development of a promising player’s career. Elias Olkkonen is currently 18 years old. He has been involved in eSports since 2017 and has already proven himself to be a talented sniper.
