The German esports organization BIG announced that Niklas “enkay J” will become its head coach. Krumhorn, known in the past for his collaborations with teams such as MOUZ, G2 and Envy. Enkay J is one of the most experienced trainers in German CS:GO. In recent months, he worked with Sprout, from which he left shortly before the major, thus becoming an obvious candidate for a coaching position at BIG.
Previous BIG coach Dustin “DuDe” Grossman left the team in September, and for the last two months he was replaced by Nikola "LEGIJA" Ninich. Under his leadership, the team qualified for the PGL Major and BLAST Premier Fall Finals, but this cooperation was initially planned as temporary until BIG found a permanent coach.
The head of the esports organization, Daniel Finkler, noted that during his long career, enkay J has accumulated vast experience, which will become an important contribution to the development of the team in 2022 and beyond. The new coach will begin work immediately as BIG faces a very busy schedule for the rest of the year. The team will perform online for the first time under the leadership of a new coach at DreamHack Open November, and in the LAN format – at V4 Future Sports Festival.
