In the final of Malta Vibes Knockout Series 1, European Entropiq was defeated in a match with Russian Entropiq, losing first place in the tournament and the main prize of $25,000.
At the beginning of the match, it seemed that the game was developing in favor of ENCE: on the Dust2 chosen by the opponents, the team initially led with a significant advantage (15 - 7), but then lost 12 rounds in a row, after which the fate of this stage was decided in overtime. Entropiq managed to keep the card with a score of 16 – 19. The next one was Ancient, and the fight there was also very stubborn: despite the fact that it was going in favor of ENCE, Entropiq lost only at the end, losing this map with a score of 16 – 13. Thus, the decisive role in the match was played by the battle of the teams on Vertigo, and this time the advantage unconditionally remained with Entropiq, which won this map with a score of 16 – 13, thus becoming the winner of the main prize.
For 2021, Entropiq showed very stable results, confidently rising in the ranking: if at the beginning of the year it was around fiftieth place, it is now entrenched in the top 20. The next test for her will be participation in the ESL Pro League. She will begin her performance in the group tournament on September 1 with a match against FURIA.
