According to the information portal Dexerto, Patrick “es3tag” Hansen is close to making his move to NIP official. It is assumed that the Danish e-sportsman will replace Linus “LNZ” Holtenga, who has been playing for the team for the past six months after joining from the Young Ninjas youth squad.
Source Dextero reports that es3tag may appear at the BLAST Premier Fall Final tournament, which will take place at the end of November in Copenhagen. It is likely that NIP will be allowed to change its roster shortly before the start of the competition, but this will mean it will have to start from a lower position in the bracket.
Hansen will move to NIP from Complexity, whose management put him up for transfer two weeks ago. The composition of the team, which was built around the Danish e-sportsman Benjamin “blameF” Bremer, disbanded after a series of failures, the latest of which was the fact that the team failed to qualify for PGL Major Stockholm.
Despite the fact that before the pandemic, es3tag showed very promising results, the online era became a period of failures for him: after leaving Heroic, he changed several teams, but did not stay longer than a few months in Astralis, Cloud9, or Complexity. It is interesting that in NIP he will play together with his former Astralis teammate Nikolai “device” Ridtz.
