ESL has created a players' council

On Thursday, ESL released a statement about the creation of a group called the ESL Pro League Player Council, through which esports players will be able to receive more information about the internal processes of the league and participate in decision-making. The “players council” includes: will include representatives from each of the 12 teams, signing an agreement that was concluded at the beginning of 2020 in the Louvre. The group is scheduled to meet at least four times a year. According to a statement released by ESL, players will be able to learn more about how decisions are made in the Pro League, ask questions and receive advice on issues that are important to them.

The advisory group met for the first time at the end of February, and Liquid coach Jason “moses” was appointed as its chairman for the near future. O’Tool. Each member will remain on the board for two years (or less if the player decides to leave their team). O’Toole noted that both players and tournament organizers understand how important good communication is. There have been several attempts in the past to create such advisory bodies, and they have failed. Regardless of how successful this attempt is, moses believes that the community should continue to develop in this direction. He hopes that they will be able to improve the current conditions for Pro League participants.
