It recently became known that the Brazilian player Rafael "exit" Lacerda, who previously played for the Sharks, is set to move to MIBR. Both parties have already agreed on the terms of the transfer and the deal should be completed soon. It remains unknown who exactly will replace exit in the current composition of MIBR. The most likely candidate to be sent to the reserves looks like Daniel "danoco" Morgado, as his recent performances for the team have been underwhelming. However, the twenty-five-year-old player will most likely remain on the roster, since the management of MIBR does not rule out that, like many other top teams, it will consider the possibility of using a squad of six people.
This will be the first roster change since MIBR signed a new roster in mid-January. Then it included four players from BOOM, who successfully performed in South American tournaments in 2020, and Daniel “danoco” Morgado. However, in Europe, MIBR's results turned out to be very average: the team won only seven out of twenty official matches and could not leave the group stage of the ESL Pro League, losing to Gambit, FURIA and Natus Vincere.
Rafael Lacerda has played for the Sharks since mid-2017. He took part in international LAN tournaments several times, and the highest achievement for his team was 22nd place in the world ranking in January 2019. The first match in which exit will appear as part of MIBR may take place as early as mid-April, as part of the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown.
