Canadian e-sportsman Justin "FaNg" Coakley was announced as the best player of the FunSpark ULTI 2020 Europe Final. He managed to win this title despite the fact that the team he plays for – Extra Salt – was defeated in the final match, losing to the German BIG in a bitter struggle.
Eighteen-year-old FaNg made a significant contribution to his team's performance at these competitions, and largely thanks to him, they managed to win victories over BIG, Dignitas and forZe in the matches of the previous stages. In total, Extra Salt played twelve maps at FunSpark, and Justin managed to show off impressive statistics on all of them. Seven times he emerged victorious from fights where he was left alone against the opposing team, and four times he was able to do this in the final match with BIG.
This MVP title was the first in the career of the young esportsman. On Twitter, he spoke about the award as follows: “I never imagined that I would play against teams that are among the best in the world, let alone win the MVP title at the championship. Of course, I would like us to remain winners, but now I will strive to make even more efforts to reach new heights.
