A few days ago, the FaZe team spoke about changes in its composition: after the departure of Nikola “NiKo” The team decided to leave Kovacs and his coach – Yanko "YNk" Paunovic. At the same time, Olof “olofmeister” will return to the team in the next matches. Kajbjer, who will replace Kovac, who moved to G2.
The break from performing for Kajbier was about five months. He decided to take a break from his professional career in May 2020 to recuperate after experiencing signs of fatigue and burnout. Initially, his place was taken by the Lithuanian player Aurimas “Bymas” Pipiras, and in August he was replaced by Markus “Kjaerbye”, who had previously played for Astralis and North.
Commenting on the reasons for his departure, Janko Paunovic said that he considers this decision the best for himself and for the team. “For some time now, my team and I have been trying to deal with problems that appeared again and again. “I tried my best to resolve them, but I was not successful,” he noted. YNk added that he has no plans to leave CS:GO, but wants to take a break in coaching activities at the end of the year.
Olofmeister's return to the team is also unlikely to be long-term: he mentioned that he has not trained for the last five months and returned to FaZe only to help the team perform at the next tournament.
