Fiend has disbanded its current lineup

The US-based esports organization Fiend announced on Twitter that it was disbanding its current roster. This decision was unexpected for those who followed its performances, since at the end of the year the team achieved stable results. A few weeks ago, Fiend put two players up for transfer – Simeon "dream3r" Ganev and the in-game leader Kamen “bubble” Kostadinova.

Over the past months, Fiend has managed to quite noticeably prove itself. After a successful performance at IEM Fall, she rose to 17th place in the world rankings, and was only a small number of points short of securing a spot at PGL Major Stockholm. Soon after, they took part in the V4 Future Sports Festival in Hungary, finishing in 3rd place. 4th place.

Despite the unexpected decision to change the lineup, judging by Fiend's statement, she has no plans to leave CS: GO. Without revealing anything specific about future plans, the team worded its statement as follows: “We have an exciting journey ahead of us, but today we have to say goodbye to the remaining players on our roster. It's been an impressive year and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did… There is a lot of new things to come, so keep your eyes open. We'll be back sooner than you think. We've allowed our players to explore other opportunities, and we believe they have a bright future ahead of them."
