The e-sports organization fnatic published a message about the end of cooperation with Mykil “Golden” Selim, who temporarily served as the main coach of fnatic Rising. Now fnatic is looking for a new mentor for the academic staff.
The team opened applications for this position this Saturday. It is known that the candidate selected by the organization will work with fnatic Rising players during a trial period, which will last until the end of the first quarter of next year.
Fnatic Rising is currently in the top 100 of the world rankings. In previous seasons of WePlay Academy, she managed to reach the top five. The team also took part in the 39th season of ESEA Advanced, but 9-12 places were not enough to advance to the next level – to the ESL Challenger league.
The average age of the players on the team is now 20.3 years old, and it includes promising Romanian sniper Iulian “regali” Kharjau. Therefore, fnatic management hopes that the arrival of a new coach will help players unlock their potential and break into the international esports scene, repeating the success of MOUZ NXT and NAVI Junior.
