Danish eSports player Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander announced that he will not be on the Astralis roster at the upcoming BLAST Premier Fall tournament due to family reasons, as he is expecting the birth of a child. Thus, the player’s place will be taken by Andreas “Xyp9x” Hoyslet. The latter will return to the active roster of the team after being left out of it at the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 14, when the Danes failed to qualify for the playoffs.
Commenting on his decision on Twitter, Rossander emphasized that he would very much like to take part in the tournament, but does not want to put the team in a position where they would have to replace him during the competition. However, gla1ve is now actively involved in the preparation of Astralis and, together with its coach Danny "zonic" Sorensen is working to ensure that the players approach the group stage of BLAST Premier Fall in good shape.
Astralis management has not yet announced who will become the in-game leader instead of gla1ve. Last time, in the absence of the main captain, Emil “Magisk” took on this function. Rife, and one can expect that now this task will also be entrusted to him.
The Danish team entered Group A at BLAST Premier Fall. In the period from September 16 to 18, she will play against Evil Geniuses, Vitality and Liquid.
