Astralis recently won a convincing victory at ESL One: Road to Rio, but soon after this, sad news awaited the team's fans. One of the players, Lucas "gla1ve" Rossander decided to temporarily leave the asset. He attributed this to health problems. According to the player, he has recently experienced symptoms of stress and burnout. Therefore, after consulting with a doctor, the twenty-four-year-old e-sportsman decided to take a break from his professional career. In an official post on this matter, Astralis reported that Lucas’s place will be temporarily taken by Jacob “JUGi” Hansen, with whom the team recently signed a contract.
Kasper Hvidt, sports director of the Astralis Group, spoke about this on his blog as follows: “I know that many players find themselves in a situation similar to the one in which Lucas found himself. You may say that we should not have delayed this step, but I hope that we can avoid such cases in the future. I'm looking forward to Lucas coming back and being 100% part of the team, but right now he needs some rest. We support him in every possible way." gla1ve is expected to be out for about three months. And JUGi will debut at DreamHack Masters Spring 2020, which starts on May 19.
