After three and a half months spent “on the bench,” Lucas “gla1ve” Rossander returns to the active Astralis roster. In mid-May, the player decided to temporarily take a break from professional matches in order to regain strength and get rid of stress and burnout. Now he will take the place of Patrick "es3tag" Hansen, who, according to Astralis representatives, “will observe the team and analyze its play, as well as help with preparations for subsequent matches.”
Patrick Hansen managed to show himself well as part of Astralis when the team participated in ESL One Cologne. He received the highest rating on the team (1.21) and made a significant contribution to the team reaching the quarter-finals. Danny “zonic” Sørensen spoke about the return of gla1ve like this:
«All of our players will have the opportunity to compete in the coming months, and we will strive to ensure that we enter the game with the strongest roster possible every time. The composition will depend on who our opponents are, and on what results the team shows and which of the participants needs rest."
Astralis's debut match with the new roster was not very successful: the team lost to Complexity Gaming at ESL Pro League Season 12.
