Danish Nikolai "HUNDEN" Petersen, in an interview with the news portal TV2.dk, spoke critically of how the eSports fair play organization ESIC conducted an investigation into the allegations against him.
He claims that the commission handling the case did not listen to his position before making a final decision: “The only thing they did was – they threatened me, claiming that if I decided to appeal their decision, I could face a five-year ban.” ESIC promises to publish the official results of the investigation on Friday, but TV2 sources are already reporting that Petersen may face a two-year ban.
The first accusations against HUNDEN were made at the end of July, when representatives of the Heroic team suggested that he could share the team’s strategic developments with third parties. HUNDEN denies these accusations, claiming that although he passed on some information to representatives of other teams, it was not about any confidential developments. Heroic claims that an internal investigation confirmed the unlawful actions of HUNDEN, after which the team ceased cooperation with him.
