A fnatic player unexpectedly received a VAC ban

Swedish player Freddy "KRiMZ" Johanson from the fnatic team unexpectedly received a VAC ban at the end of the week. He has not yet provided details about what happened, but shared the assumption that the matter may be due to some kind of error or software glitch. This version is also supported by the fact that on November 24, Valve released a patch for the cheat detection system. The VACnet neural network analyzes the movements of the mouse and sight at the moment of the shot and issues a ban if it detects an inconsistency between them. Another version was expressed by insider Guillaume “neL” Kahlo. He believes that the player’s account could have been hacked, and these actions were the reason for the ban.

A comment on this situation has already been published by fnatic coach Andreas Samuelsson. He noted that there are no suspicions of cheating against the player, and the team turned to Valve with a request to quickly understand the current situation. In addition, Samuelsson addressed the organizers of the tournaments in which KriMZ has recently participated – Perhaps the information received from them will help understand the reasons for the blocking. The player hopes that it will be possible to find out the reason for the ban in the near future, since the team will have another official match on Tuesday.
