Jamppi has confirmed a move to Valorant

Finnish esportsman Elias "Jamppi" Olkkonen confirmed his intention to move to Valorant. Rumors about his transfer have arisen more than once recently, and now the player has officially announced his plans to start his career “from scratch.” in a shooter from Riot Games. On this occasion, he published a video message on his Twitter.

He also commented on his relationship with the esports organization ENCE. He has been playing for them since last year, but in January he was sent to the reserves after the team management decided to change the roster and attract e-sportsmen from other countries. “Such things happen in esports all the time, and I can’t do anything about it,” the player noted. – I'm grateful that ENCE gave me the opportunity to compete with the best for eight months. I always dreamed of competing with the strongest teams, and I could do it."

Jamppi cited VAC ban as one of the reasons for his move to Valorant, which prevented him from participating in competitions organized by Valve. At the end of 2019, Jamppi was unable to join OG due to a ban, which the player himself considers unfair. He has been suing for the past year in an attempt to have it removed, but to no avail. Now he hopes that moving to another discipline will allow him to reach a new level, giving him more opportunities to participate in competitions.
