The Ukrainian-Russian team ProjectX announced the dissolution of the roster. The players have split into two groups, which will separately continue to look for opportunities to collaborate with other esports organizations. One of the players, Evgeniy “7oX1C” Motsevoy cited the main reason for this decision as the small number of invitations to significant competitions after the team rose to 43rd place in the HLTV rankings in early February. As a result, the players had problems with motivation, and in recent performances they showed results noticeably lower than expected.
7oX1C spoke about this as follows: “Despite the fact that we reached the highest ranking in the entire history of the team, we had problems. The players were thrilled that we were in the top 50 and we were ready to strive for higher goals, but then we stopped getting invitations to competitions, and this resulted in a lack of motivation and major failures.
Three ProjectX players, namely Dmitry “Sensei” Shvorak, Alexander "Psycho" Zlobin and Sergey "Sergiz" Atamanchuk have already announced that they plan to continue playing there, and are now looking for two more players for the team and are ready to consider offers from various e-sports organizations.
