On October 20, the Battle of Betway demonstration competition will take place, during which five teams from Europe and South America will compete on old maps. Their European teams at the event, which will take place six days before the start of the major, will feature NIP, G2 and BIG, while South America will be represented by FURIA and MIBR.
In the list of maps on which teams will play – Tuscan, Cobblestone, one of the versions of Cache, as well as old editions of Inferno and Train. All matches will be played within one day: the group stage will be held in a round-robin format, and in the evening the playoffs will take place, in which the final winner will be determined. At the first stage, each team will have to play one short match (best-of-1) against the rest. After this, the team that takes the leading place in the ranking will go straight to the grand final, and those in second and third places will compete for the right to become its opponent. Like the group stage matches, the grand final will be played in the BO format!.
The matches will be broadcast on the Twitch channels of the bookmaker Betway, which is organizing the event. This is the second time she has held such a tournament – The first exhibition games of Battle of Betway took place in January 2021, and then the winner was BIG.
