How to open the console

Enable optimization for weak hardware
Even though the game is already 10 years old, the Source 2 game engine is still quite demanding. Moreover, Dota has a lot of sparkling effects that greatly reduce FPS, but we don’t need that.

They reduce the requirements for global illumination, processor and video card. In fact, they allow you to play on almost any old computer.
HUD settings

dota_shop_force_hotkeys 1 — disabling the hotkey for the store;
dota_player_units_auto_attack 1 — disable auto-attack;
dota_ability_quick_cast 1 — quick cast;
dota_sf_game_end_delay 0 — quick match table;
dota_sf_hud_killcam "1" — includes killcam (who killed you and how much damage they caused);
glow_outline_effect_enable "1" — highlights units;
dota_health_hurt_decay_time_max "0" — delays damage in the HP bar;
volume "0.5" — increase/decrease the volume of effects from 0 to 1;
snd_musicvolume "0" — decrease/increase music volume;
rate "80000" — expands network capacity;
cl_updaterate "40" — adjustment of incoming updates (for slow Internet);
cl_cmdrate "40" — adjustment of outgoing updates (for slow Internet);
How to set a command in Dota 2? Turn on the console and configure it to your liking. Preferably in training mode, so as not to disturb anyone.
Simplying training in single mode
To test a new character or tactic, you don’t have to spend a long time and painstakingly gaining experience, farming gold and monotonously killing creeps. You can greatly simplify the process of achieving your goal. It is enough to set up a team in Dota 2 in training mode, since nothing will work in a network game.
dota_hero_level «quantity» — level up;
dota_bot_give_level «quantity» — increasing the level of bots;
dota_create_item "name" — issuance of any item;
dota_bot_give_item "name" — issuing any item to bots;
dota_give_gold «quantity» — get rich quick;
dota_hero_refresh — instant CD of skills/HP/mana;

dota_spawn_creeps — creep respawn;
dota_spawn_neutrals — respawn of neutral creeps;
dota_creeps_no_spawning_enable / dota_creeps_no_spawning_disable — disables/enables creep spawning;
dota_create_unit "name" — spawn of any unit;
dota_respawn_roshan "command" — revive Roshan.
We do not recommend getting carried away with these teams, since in a real game you will be severely disappointed. The more you use cheats — the more difficult it is to adapt to the standard rhythm of the gameplay.
How to put a team icon in Dota 2
