The Slovak esports organization Sampi announced the creation of a new CS: GO roster, the leader of which will be Ladislav “Guardian” Kovacs, who previously played for FaZe and NAVI. The team will also include four young players who managed to prove themselves in the FACEIT Pro League and played for such teams as Enterprise and eSuba.
Guardian, a top 20 player of the year six times during his career, played for Singularity and Trident in 2021, but failed to achieve much success with either team. Now he returns to the Slovak team for the first time in ten years with the intention, despite his age, to once again become one of the best snipers in the world.
One of the team members will be Matush “MATYS” Shimko, who transferred from Enterprise and is considered one of the most promising players on the local scene. The responsibilities of the in-game leader will most likely go to Andrey “ADEJUS” Kmeništyak, who also played for Enterprise but was benched in February.
The roster will also include former eSuba project participant Lukasz “sAvana1” Lintner and little-known e-sportsman Michal “T4gg3D” Vrzal, selected based on his high performance in FPL and has significantly improved his individual level recently.
