The Danish team North is close to concluding a contract with twenty-seven-year-old player Jonas “Lekr0” Olofsson, who previously competed for Ninjas in Pajamas. He played his last match for his previous team three months ago. He has been “on the bench” for the last time, and now North has reached an agreement with NiP to transfer Lekr0 to a new team on a permanent basis. His first appearance for North is expected next week.
Jonas Olofsson was part of the Ninjas in Pajamas main roster for almost two years and quickly became the leader of the team. With his participation, NiP achieved great success, in particular, participating in the FACEIT major. and in BLAT Pro Series Copenhagen.
About a month ago, Lekr0 discussed the possibility of moving to Mad Lions, but in the end the deal fell through. As part of North, he will take the place of Marcus “Kjarebye” Kyarebi, who left the team in July, had previously been out of action for two months due to medical reasons. The Danes are currently ranked twelfth in the European RMR rankings and only need to move up one position to enter the qualifying zone for ESL One: Rio Major.
