Lucky leaves the Astralis lineup

Philip "Lucky" Ewald announced that he plans to leave Astralis when his current contract expires in mid-May. The Danish organization allowed the young esports player to consider pursuing a career outside of it.

Lucky began collaborating with Astralis in August 2021, filling the position left vacant after the departure of Nikolay “device” Reedtz, who transferred to NIP. However, in the second half of 2021 the Danes failed to significantly improve their results, and at the end of the Major in Stockholm they ended up in 12-14th place.

Lucky remained on the active Astralis roster for six months, after which he was transferred to inactivity, and his place was taken by Asger "Farlig" Jensen. In his post regarding his decision to leave the team, Lucky noted that he had improved his level during his time with Astralis and was looking forward to applying this knowledge elsewhere. He mentioned that he missed professional performances and is more eager than ever to show good results in order to return to the top. Lucky emphasized that he plans to continue to actively develop his career and is open to offers from e-sports organizations interested in collaborating with him.
