On the eve of the first RMR tournament of the year, Natus Vincere announced that it would return to using a six-person roster in order to comply with Valve's rules, according to which teams would be deducted points for substitutions during the match. As a result, the composition of NAVI will change for the near future as follows: Egor “flamie” Vasiliev will go to the reserve, and his place will be taken by the young player Valery “B1T” Vakhovsky, who previously played for NAVI Junior. Egor Vasiliev will also miss DreamHack Masters Spring. This will give the team the opportunity to prepare to play with a new roster on various maps before the upcoming rating tournament.
In the near future, Natus Vincere plans to train as part of a bootcamp in Kyiv, which will run from April 11 to April 24. After that, they expect to use their participation in DreamHack Masters Spring to understand which positions B1T plays most effectively. Although the team notes that this tournament remains significant for them and they will be happy to perform successfully at it, it is of paramount importance for them to practice tactics before the RMR tournament, which is scheduled to take place in May.
It remains unclear whether NAVI intends to return to a six-man roster in the future. Although B1T initially played for the team only on Inferno, in ESL Pro League 13 he got the opportunity to prove himself by also playing on Mirage and Overpass.
